Jacek Kolodziejski

Jacek Kolodziejski graduated from the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. He also studied Film and Photography at the Academy of Art & Design in Lodz, Poland. "I always give my photos a distinct character and style. I focus on creating a particular atmosphere of every picture therefore I am very meticulous with each phase of its production: set design, exposing emotions of a model and project completion - postproduction which in my opinion is the crucial moment of entire process and I participate in it personally. My experience at the academy and the lessons learned gave me a distance to commercial photography. I treat every commercial job like my personal artistic project. Apart from commercial activity I am still much into art: video, installations and photography. My works were exhibited at international photography festivals such as International Festival of Photography in Arles, Tec-Tece Exhibition in Arles, Month of Photography, Bratislava and Magnum Gallery Bratislava."
